On April 12, 1961, aboard Vostok-1, Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin made history by completing humanity's first manned spaceflight.

With the call sign 'Kedr' (Cedar), Gagarin orbited Earth in just 108 minutes, becoming a true hero of mankind.

Gagarin's flight became the ultimate symbol of space exploration, inspiring Soviet watchmakers to commemorate this achievement not only in their timepieces but also in their brand names.

About the Project

In creating the 'Yasen-108' watch box, we've incorporated subtle design elements that pay tribute to humanity's first space flight:
  • The name 'Yasen-108' combines two elements: while Gagarin's call sign was 'Kedr' (Cedar), we chose Ash wood ('Yasen') for its superior crafting properties, and '108' represents his historic flight duration in minutes.
  • The interior features space gray, matching the original spacecraft's interior, while the orange accents mirror Yuri Gagarin's iconic spacesuit.
Each timepiece stored within this box will be surrounded by space history, allowing collectors to feel connected to this remarkable achievement every time they open it.
